I never thought I’d get over Craig Kilborn leaving “The Daily Show” show, seeing Stewart leave is going to be even harder.
This story’s still developing — Stewart told his guests at today’s taping in New York — so we’ll likely know more about his future plans soon. But still, that’s a blow.
Whatever the reason, best of luck to him and his team. What they’ve accomplished in the last 17 years is remarkable, and I can’t even imagine the next host (if there is one) doing it better.
Although, I did say the same thing about Kilborn.
