Non-newsroom jobs for journalism grads

I wanted to share this article I recently wrote for Ashford University’s Forward Thinking blog. The idea came after a conversation I had with a friend in the news business. He’d like to get out of the business, but he thinks his options are limited.

So I went to the chair of Ashford’s journalism program, and she explained why our careers aren’t defined by our degrees. In this article, she talks about the intangibles that can propel journalism grads into other careers.
